Comments: What a wonderful property! What an incredible vacation!! This was my 4th trip to the lower Keys and, by far, Sea Vista Estate is the best place that I've ever experienced in the Keys. It is a place that combines natural beauty with all the comforts that only a vacation in the Keys can offer. This year my wife Beverly and I invited my sister Rona and my brother in-law Alec. Each day started with the sun rising while Alec and I drank coffee and streched at the end of the beautiful 500 foot pier. While walking to and from the pier, not only do you see and hear pelicans, seagulls, herons, osprey and other assorted sea birds, through the clear water you will see Conch, lobsters, redtail, yellowtail, baracuda, and sea bass. After our early morning ritual, we met up with the ladies and ate a very healthy breakfast while enjoying the view of the shimmering aquamarine water just outside our door. After breakfast each day we did an assortment of activities that included running on the closed section of Old Stage Road (amazing run), brisk walks, and cycling (Old Loop Road). Although Carol did not suggest it, one morning after a wonderful bike ride, we jumped off a 15 foot bridge into the cool waters of a 20 feet deep canal - not bad for a bunch of mid fifty folks! The water felt great! Our afternoons were spent relaxing - reading and hanging out at our gorgeous private beach, dozing in the hammock, and enjoying the pool, the hot tub, and the chichi huts on the property. Kayaking and fishing is great as well. By late afternoon, if we stayed at the property for the evening, we would start to sip on the variety of rum drinks that Rona stirred up. With Miami being the closest light dome, the clear nights bring out the best in the Milky Way and the stars were thick like clouds and brilliant against the deep black sky. We visited Key West 4 out of the 8 nights that we stayed at Sea Vista. What happens in Key West stays in Key West. So, all I will share about Key West is, between the restaurants, the shopping, and the people-watching, fun was had by all. There is as much or as little to do around Sea Vista as you choose. As other have stated in previous postings, Carol's Key Lime pie is delicious! Also, Troy picked us fresh oranges, limes, starfruit, and bananas from their property. Troy also made us an incredible fresh lobster, stonecrab, and octopus dinner. Both Troy and Carol are great folks who genuinely want their guests to enjoy their stay at Sea Vista and who make their guests feel welcomed. I would highly recommend Sea Vista for anyone looking for a relaxing laid back environment of natural beauty. In fact, we all can't wait to return next year...and the next year... and the next year....

Comments: Wow! Where do I begin?! It has been two months since we stayed at Sea Vista for the first time, and I am already itching to go back! We have traveled down to the Keys about half a dozen times and have stayed in Islamorada, Marathon & Key West. This private estate hidden in the Sugarloaf Keys is truly a miracle! There is no other place in the world like the Florida Keys (literally!), and there is no other place in the Florida Keys like Sea Vista Estate! The owners pride in taking care of their grounds and their guests. There are plenty of things to do at “home” like kayaking, sunbathing, fishing, biking, and relaxing by the uniquely designed grotto pool (complete with swim up bar, television, mini refrigerator, grill, jacuzzi, slide, waterfall and even a little cave!) If you need to get a Key West “fix” you are only twenty minutes away. It is easy to head west for lunch or dinner and some sightseeing and head back “home” for the night. The only decisions you will really have make are wether you should relax in the hammock with a good book, or check out the fish hanging out beyond the dock via kayak. Hey, you might even see a sea turtle!

 Comments: Troy and Carol,

We had such a lovely time at Sea Vista!!=0) We so enjoyed the snorkeling, visiting Key West, kyaking, the awesome pool-grotto area with the chikee huts, and Robbie too!!! However, fishing with our kids off the dock was the greatest of all. Sea Vista is our kind of vacation spot, being that we live in a coastal environment as well, we enjoy the coastal area. So, we felt quite at home. I tell everyone I know that staying at Sea Vista is better than cruising!! No hurried time lines, no pre-planned agendas or itineraries. Sea Vista is just perfect for us...for our entrie family...from 7 to 73. There was something for everyone in our group at Sea Vista. Carol and Troy, you're the perfect hosts, making all feel welcome and Carol, your Key Lime Pies "Rock The Cazbah!!!" Your key Lime Pie touch made my mother's birthday all the more special!!=0) This is the first time my family and I vacationed at the Florida Keys so we really did not know what to expect. Please expect that the Sukkestads will definitely be returning to the Florida Keys every year from now on (even to override cruising), and will specifically stay at SEA VISTA for many years to come! Even my nine year olds had a blast! Besides swimming in the pool and fishing, snorkeling was their favorite!! We definately will have the entire family back next year!! Thanks so much Troy and Carol for opening up your domicile...your home to the Sukkestads. You have made die hard fans of us. God Bless and take care!!=0) Ellie Sukkestad

Our stay at Sea Vista was so wonderful we could hardly believe it. You have surely made a special paradise for a very lucky few to enjoy. We wish we could keep it our exclusive secret! The fishing from the pier was amazing, as were the homemade key lime pies. Thank you for all your hospitality. We will surely be back.

 Comments: Troy & Carol,

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation. We had the time of our lives! The girls will always remember reading in the hammock and searching for shells. Thank you so much for your hospitality. The Key Lime Pie was fantasitic! We had the best time fishing off the pier. We brought back over 100 Snapper and are planning a fish fry here at home. We hope we can arrange to come back next year.

Comments: My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Sea Vista and will definately return! The property was so private and quiet, which is just what we wanted to really de-stress. We also enjoyed the quiet roadway to run and bike in the mornings with lots of nature all around us. Thanks for a geat place to relax.

Comments: We had a fantastic week staying at the Sea Vista Estate. Troy and Carol were excelent hosts, so helpful and friendly. The pool was amazing, we could have spent all day in it. Sea Vista is the perfect base from which to visit all the best parts of the Florida keys. Since getting back to the UK we have been recommending Sea vista to our friends! We will be sure to try and come back to this great place in a fantastic part of the world.

Comments: Thanks for the great weekend. You guys have an awesome place. I'd reccomend Sea Vista Estate to anyone looking for privacy and peace in the Florida Keys. Key West is so close, yet just far enough away. Fishing from the dock was my favorite. Thanks again Troy, Carol, Tyler and Chelsea. We'll be back. JZ and Co.
